Very good store, there are many things that are used for home projects, the only thing that caught my attention is that the employees are a bit rude when you ask them something.
Great value, love the color tag sales! Who doesn't like 75% off. Staff was kind and helpful. They even called the other stores to find out if an item was still there.
The manager Jessica at the S Tacoma St. Location was very unhelpful and rude. After I purchased a table, I came back for it a few hours later and it had been moved and is now missing parts. I did not get any help looking for them, I left with it and have to find the parts somewhere. Otherwise everyone else was helpful and friendly and I liked the experience minus Jessica :)
A little disappointed in some of the prices...thought it would be a discount kind of store...what they wanted for a small box with 16 penny nails, all loose, was pretty steep!! Was a little put off by the price. Other than that, I really dig the store!! They've got a ton of different, random things some you can't find anywhere else!! Example: windows, kitchen sink parts, vent covers...alot!
Went to drop off a 3 year old sliding patio door in new shape. The old guy that came out to take it said I don’t want it and closed the door. Very rude will not take anything there again!!!
I've never been here before. I was just looking for some light blue paint. They had some, took home & painted bedroom. Color/paint are perfect.
Went there just for something to do...the rain yuk anywho found some great deals. If you're doing any type of diy try finding items here first you may run into some treasures as I did beautiful hanging lamps 75% off they end up costing me...2.50 each what a deal!!! Stop by either store So. Tacoma wy or at Lakewood townecenter both are great...oh and I'm not getting anything for this psa.lol
Don't bother to donate anything to Tacoma Habitat. They are ungrateful and quarrelsome. Tried to drop off some unused foam and they said they wouldn't take it. "We sell it but we don't take it as donation," the spokesman said. Well, where do you get the foam then? Offered a hedge cutter and he said, "Where's the power cord?" It didn't come with one, I explained. You can use any extension cord to attach to the hedge cutter and the power source. "Is everything in this box?" he asked when I offered a bed frame. The frame has never been taken out of the box, I explained. They reluctantly took it. And two buckets of paint he said could be recycled at my cost. What? Where do you get all of the partial cans of paint you sell on the shelves? My God, what treatment of someone wanting to make a donation. My advice: Don't bother.
